Semantic Analysis,as a method of the great movement known as the "linguistic turn" in the 20th century history of philosophy,not only gave rise to the birth of the philosophy of science,but also is the direct source of the real philosophy of mathematics in the early 20th century.Frege's philosophy of mathematics and semantic thought in his "The Foundations of Arithmetic"(1884)is very important.This paper tries to investigate how Frege used his semantic strategy to explore the ontological and epistemological questions about arithmetic.Finally,it point out the philosophical significance of semantic anal.
